long time no see

yup today was my last exam as well...
now "only" those three that will give me my Bc title
but Im going for Mrg anyway ^^

my school is a private one the only kind of degree they have is a bachelor of fine arts. so whatever major one ends up picking, it's always going to be a four year ride.

I can't give my mom flowers anymore because the cats like to chew on them way too much. heck my blonde boy loves chewing on plastic bags for some reason. it's like a plastic binge!
we always seem to end up with the weird ones, but he's got to be the worst.

yep.. but well, its different in different countries, practically since I study a technical school teh title is called Ing, like engineer, but in Uk or US Im not sure right now, it means just technical high school.... here its a title after technical college... but it itll be possible, Ill go for PhD after that

anyway Im back from Ukraine and well... too much time spent in the bus really was not the bet for my stomach, especial after 5 days of "desinfecting" which mean drinking vodka and our typicak czech liquor made from plums called "slivovice"
and of course that also mean lack of sleep

but I have to say the nature is AWESOME, the country itself... not so much

well, Ive arrived like 5 hrs ago, so I still have mixed feeling
(and maybe a bit of hangover too )

right now our town is have an all-town garage sale. people can sign up and their house gets put on a map of garage sales. two full days of shopping for bargains, antiques, and broken crap.
my fav part is always the books though I did get some good movies this year too...
we never have our own sale, but our church always does, they're the center point of everything, they make the maps and sign ups. so we just send our junk there.
Last year someone tried to donate a jock's cup to sell.

Five more days left.....doesn't quite seem real

oh I wish, but I have my finals in 10 days and Im going crazy!!!!

oi, that sounds cool! a good way to get rid of things you dont need and someone might like them

so are your exams over now? how did they go?

pretty average actually. One C, mostly B's, one A.....
we're talking art teachers here so it's impossible to please them all the time you know? But it's so much harder than high school my GPA dropped from 3.1 to 2.8 and I no longer get the bonus discount on my insurance anymore for being above a 3.0.

But actually I wasn't talking about my finals though. they've been over since the end of April.
No I was talking five more days of being a teenager. I still don't feel very different. I suppose I should be more responsible and try harder to find a job but.....

oh and between the garage sales, the book recycling event, and the library sale, I now have more than 30 books that I have to read. though I did score a cool jean jacket.
Now I'm just looking forward to being assistant to the music director (who was my 7th grade English teacher) for this year's Vacation Bible School.

but the GPA sucs, thats true .. I mean if I got it right...
here the lower GPA the better, its like A=1, B=1,5, C=2, D=2,5, E=3, F=failed... so the lower number, the better

yeah, for us you'd want to get a higher GPA. I don't know what the exact grades per numbers are tho.
and leather's cool, but really when it's this hot out it's just too sticky. don't know if I'm really a leather girl anyway tho.

Thanks for the cake!! I loooove chocolate.... we went to the zoo to see the giant robotic bugs they just put in and I had my first ever root beer float. my mom later told me that it was my grandfather's favorite treat, they used to wheel him out of the nursing home just to get one. thought that was pretty sweet...and of course, it was free pie day at Baker's Square.

So, hey guys! I'm reposting cause I'd rather not go another month with no activity, I promised myself I be more active here for you guys, but it doesn't work if I'm the only one!

Lessee....I burned my thumb on Independence Day over here. but don't worry it wasn't from the awesome fireworks I got. the cheap plastic lighter decided to blow the flame right into my thumb. Stupid piece of junk.

My mom left for Albuquerque this morning (that's in the southwest, a few hours in a plane). Unfortunately spellcheck was no help in spelling that. So now I have the house to myself along with three cats and a dog. Which means they'll be yowling at my door at five in the morning for me to feed them. Don't know how my mom stands it, but then she's always been a morning person. Not the way I want to spend my summer vaca.
Oh and the dog has his pills he's gotta take.

So sorry for dumping that on you guys. I don't want to catch myself talking to the animals. But at least this coming weekend we'll be going to the Ignite Chicago two day concert in Schaumburg. We went two years ago and it was awesome!!!(tho I spent waaay too much money lol) and this year I'll finally get to see Casting Crowns in concert. they're my fav, or at least one of them.

SOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!

*sigh* I've got about three weeks til school starts. Don't know if I'm excited about it or dreading it.

In any case, I spent the last week in Kentucky working at Red Bird Mission with my church's youth. We went white water rafting on Wednesday and I got totally sunburned.....I don't think we have a smiley for that. lol
I also ended up going down the last of the rapids without a boat. (tho I wasn't the only one.) I'd have to say that that was probably the most exciting part of the trip. I certainly drank my fair share of river water that's for sure.

So where is everyone? It's been over a month and I really want to get this forum back up and going but I can't do it by myself! It's soooooo dead!

two weeks of school gone by already, but so far I've only gotten homework in one class and it's photography so it's not your conventional homework. lol

I'm kinda bummed that it's been so long since anyone else has come on here. I even had my computer's hard drive crash and had to spend over a week trying to get it fixed and then getting everything back up to par and redownloaded and all. yet no one's been on. echo, echo.......
