cud the coven duels b scheduled to b complete before 20:00 or so
coz at that time its near about 1:30 a.m. in night for me and i have to get to office next morning

yesterday i struggled to remain awake till 3 in morning

just when freeze does CAT its there ... otherwise they r well finished

i normally remain awake till 2 or 2:30 a.m.

well we have had CAT probems ever since we started the guild .. as u can see we have diferent people from very diferent and far away regions .. therefore teh time san between us is quite big and we finnaly found one time ( when Hasky does and for this we thank and love ya honey ) when we are al;most all active ... Freeze i noticed does tham a bit later perhaps he is in school or has work and he does them when he can ... trust me doing CAT is strenous hard work

Its certainly is hard to be a coven elder. especially when friends become inactive. :[

BTW Galen the git thinks that elrosse carnesir is their only strong competition. with exception of their agreed truce with MDE. Lord Phule is doing nothing to stop Galen from attacking us 3 times each day with VG.
Funny thing Miteshu actually thought they would beat GotW. They soon found out their not as strong as they think they are when we not only defended them but wiped them out

Hasky dont you realise the power of a vampire. The teleportation a vampire can do 3 times and every mage the vampire hits with teleportation has the same effect as desert burial on the second round the mage cant cast any spell.
Very good along with Rohaas glowing eyeballs which makes spells miss. :twist:

Poly, but why does it have to do so low dmg?!
after a dicsusion w/ raghu I keep it there, but still it does only 65! in 3 rounds!!!

u have 15 days to catch me up
even then i think i'll hv access enough to send my mage to school i.e. whole 90 mins.
so that shd give me on average 90 xp per day
and 60 xp frm coven duels per day i.e. 150 xp per day
15 X 150 = 2250 xp
i shd climb upto max 103

u can catch me up (or get really close to me) i love that idea ... lol just kidding just don't burn me

afterall minde has given me the title of "loverboy" i think i shd use that

abt my target i intend to jump ahead of all ( hasky will b last ofcourse ) lets see how many days/months it takes evryone is pretty active here

these 15 days will kill my progress i'll have to start again

as we go by the duel report , we can conclude if we cast our 6 hit superior spells
we don't have much mana left to cast ,

so its basically without any attack for the 3rd round

without summon i don't think trancalf will b able to do any less damage than he could by 6 hit spells

at my level i.e. 101 after spending exactly 40 int points and everything else in will power i have 1450 mana so going by that trancalf will have 1480 or so mana

so by 6 hit sup spell i.e. 237 X 6 = 1422 mana , balance mana = 58 only
so he can always have a single hit or multi-spell for about total of 195 mana (2nd round),i.e. after spending 100 mana on summon(1st round) and having superior spell (3rd round) , so by summoning a summon will reduce damage by approx. 100 damage max.


while by summoning , if vampire is able to cast his spell i.e. teleportation he'll render 3 enemies useless (that will reduce enemy damage by 300 min.)
and even if he gets hit by GB, that will mean one of us will be spared from GB, and one of us will be able to cast in 2nd round (going by the example it prevents u from being affected by GB u'll cast 400 damage )


so overall i think that summoning vampire is useful if we face stronger enemies


but that ofcourse means we need to be strong enough to utilize that opportunity

that in short sums up my observation.

i'll quote an example , if u'll see miteshu's report u'll see some of mages use their 6 hit superior spells
in 3rd round so that may save us a lot of damage when we attack them, for which ofcourse we'll need sup. healers too

heh, the worst it that they heal all of our dmg w/ 2 healers

I dont want to see the healing of the rest of ppl, ANY kind of healing in coven duels will be forbidden

but once again, I dont want to see the other one using healing... dmg must be done, the bigger the better

so i m going for healing have 5 spells already

Hasky, wtf are you on about? Healing is the best there is, even in coven duels. But yeah, it takes forever to get there, so no need to worry. I'd say raghu, knock yourself out on healing if you already have spells in it. I really, REALLY wish I"d saved up spell points back when rather than putting them in air *looks at hasky*, but now that I've started down the air path, I might as well finish it. But I do plan on doing healing after.

*grumbles* I don't even LIKE air. But oh well.

But Raghu the air superior sucks. The best spells are deadly cloud and energy strike. Energy explosion does DOT aswell but not as much as deadly cloud. Damage wise the best superiors are fire, earth and necro. Healing has made the healers 'stronger' than the other elements for now. RMS will already be working on next update. German servers are already has mages becoming superior in all 6 elements. up to level 403

Hasky you moan about about the small amount of damage a vampire does but it is the only thing in the whole of the elements that can stop 3 mages from casting a spell on next round. Who cares about small damage when it stops 3x mages' multicast spells. Desert burial(earth) stops 1 mage from casting spell. Glowing eyeball doesnt stop a mage casting a spell but does make them miss. Vampire on 2nd round will work as a summons even if hit by Glowing eyeballs + will stop 3 mages cast spells on 3rd round.

Instead of going up an element why dont you keep back spell points then learn whatever in 1 go. Its not like your going to use the low level spells. That way if your plans change it not wasted. Wish I had done that before putting 21 wasted spell points into earth.

Vamp still does some 40 damage, I've seen, which is also nice.

I'd like to argue that missing (i.e. eyeballs) >>> skipping (i.e. burial/vamp), as it costs them mana. I LOVE having someone miss 5 of their strongest spells. Instant mana drain.

Poly, if air sup sucks so bad, would it be better for me to finish majoris and switch to earth?

Well none of the superior air spells actually do anything. You get stronger 6x multicast spells but no additional benefits. No DOT or effect that stops a mage casting or miss. Maybe in next patch they will make air and water benefit. Matt has major earth and because his intell was 40 he had choice of several earth spells he learnt 1st level of desert burial.
You best consult hasky about you spells but you have alot of air mages dont you? Also depends how many points you have already invested in it.
I keep changing my mind on what to finish next so am keeping my spell points back for now.
And yes Glowing eyeballs is the best 5 mages still have to cast but it misses so drains their mana.
But the vampire is the only summons that can stop a mage and does it 3 times. Cant wait until beldin or taurotype gets it.

coz there r only 3 rounds
sup air doesn't have DOTs or special ability
but they do have a lot of damage
if u want the damage u can go up the air
but polgara is rite deadly cloud is the best

Well, now that im at majoris in air, ill probably continue what i was working on in earth.....
Hasky already had me starting that, but i was just so peeved at having copper that i went for the next level in air.

all i read the reports and observed something

i think in 2nd round we are wasting mana(lots of) [not me coz after 6 hit i don't have enough mana left]

but to those who do hellfire in 2nd round my suggestion wud b that multi hits should b retained in 1st and 3rd round only 2nd round shd b of minimum mana

i think in this way we'd b better utilize it like rohaa 2nd is summon it never misses

well i'm not saying necessarily summons coz they may take a lot of damage
but some of little mana (u can calculate mana for 2nd spell after taking into account 1st and 3rd spell)

that wud b great while defending as well as attacking

Well Raghu now your prem you will level even faster. Im about to level to 150 Think you can try and catch me only draw back is I can only get 5 exp now where as Amida is 3 levels behind me and can get 10 exp still Dont forget to do the extreme adventures. Its the only one you can win uniques on.

Im keeping lookout on german server incase so we are pre-warned about any further info.

Rohaa cant find the stats you need. might be better if you message Galen direct. Im not his favourite person atm. Just done 4 mass attacks on miteshu. couldnt resist the amount of gold they donated.

do u knw how many fights one undergoes in extreme adv.
i just underwent an adventure (extreme) i did 5 rounds

and i didn't get a msg like adventure is finished or some thing but i won all 5 rounds they were pretty easy (of course i'm much above lvl 40 )

The extreme is always 5 adventures its on finishing the 5th adventure you could win the unique. You will get a red message saying congrats. so if you see your inbox flashing red it could be a unique or someone annoying messaging you.

Ok Coven adventures easy is 4 mages - average is 6 mages - difficult is 8 mages - extreme is 10 mages. all mages taking part must be premium and the coven alignment must be a premium coven meaning (half of coven must be premium). Honestly the easy adventure and easy coven adventures are worthless.

coven extreme adventure is like impossible!!!!!!! 10 mages!!!!!!

anyways i also don't think its worth it.

anyways about coven duels
as i suggested that one shd arrange their spells so that least mana consuming spell shd b 2nd
and multi hit spells shall be kept at 1st and 3rd positions

from coven duel reports its evident that while we fight miteshu we deal so much less damage coz hasky and trancalf miss on their 5 hit spells thats equivalent to 800 damage
we shd utilize our every possible damage i think

at least we shd experiment it today
m damn sure we cud do more damage also it'll b gud at defence.

Thats what we do summons or weak spell on round 2. Well Yoda uses desert burial on 2nd round because when enclave attack us. rapids usually cant cast on 3rd round aswell as 2nd round after I have hit them all with glowing eyesballs on 1st round.

Extreme coven adventures are not impossible GotW have 11 prems atm we win about 3,000 gold each from them. Well worth doing. :twist: the total gold won from coven adventures is including on coven hall of fame gold wins.

since becoming premmie rate has increased
now i think school pretty lame but still do that 15 exp is not that bad

You would be mad not to do school. I do 10 mins school - duel - then school so on. But that is because in those 10 minutes I can be on ToM US or Pirates assault or just doing some housework. krobelush said he found it better to do 6 duels then 30 minutes of school at a time. even if you just did the whole block in one go set it going before you log off. Free exp.

i do duel -10 mins -duel -10 mins but ill try krob's aproach too

ill see how much i get tomorrow and than the day after ill see how much i gte with korb's aproach

@raghu: I do all my school hours at once when i need to log off. Sometimes if im going somewhere and dont have time to spend doing duels, i just log on to go to school so i can still get some exp in the day.

Our forum has been down for 2 days :[ I told durny and he's reported it. Its something to do with the hosts server. :[
